Adrian Herpe
Musical journey
An accomplished classical pianist, trained at the Ukrainian piano school and a brilliant graduate of the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, Adrian Herpe is now continuing his studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. His pianistic virtuosity and passion for music illustrate a remarkable artistic trajectory, enriched by the influence of various prestigious schools.
He began his career in western Ukraine. Until the age of 19, he received a solid musical training inherited from the Soviet Union. Adrian received advice from musicians such as Michel Beroff, Elisabeth Leonskaya, Robert Levin, Yosef Örmény, Carlos Cebro, Boyan Vodenicharov, Rena Shereshevskaya and recently with Dmitry Alexeev. At the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, he was introduced to the pianoforte by Claire Chevallier. From an early age, he won numerous prizes in international competitions, including the Brueghel Music Competition, the Brest Piano Competition, the Nice Côte d'Azur International Competition and many others. He has performed regularly throughout Europe in recital and with orchestra, particularly in Ukraine, France, Belgium and Austria.
Adrian Herpe is also a politically committed pianist. As soon as the Russian aggression in Ukraine began, he gave a series of recitals, the profits from which were donated to associations helping the Ukrainian people.
